Quality Control
Turf grass quality control begins at the farm level and includes the growing process, fertilization, irrigation, and disease free operations. Once it leaves the farm we depend upon the competency of our product supervisors, dispatchers, and field technicians to ensure that the grasses you receive are clean, fresh.
Every batch of grass that is delivered to our offices or to your site, is inspected by a lot supervisor; if any discrepancies are found the turf is rejected, and replaced with a fresh batch. Mata-Turf, Inc. is the only company that we know of which guarantees the quality of its grass products. If any piece of grass is found to be defective due to our negligence, or which falls through our inspection process, we will replace it free of charge. We will not be held liable for owner's negligence, or misapplication of chemicals, i.e. fertilizer or herbicides; but we try to be as accommodating as possible in those rare occasions where defective grass is a problem.
We furnish "Care Sheets" which are fact/tip sheets that enable you to properly care for your sod in its early stages of new growth. These tips will allow you to reap the rewards of the hard work we so diligently invested to deliver a consistent quality product to your door.
